The Geo-Media project is a group project developed at IAMAS. The group includes Atuhito Sekiguchi who is a professor at IAMAS as a supervisor with Yasuhiko Takeya, Mika Satomi, Hiroko Mugibayasi, Yousuke Nagao, Nanae Konishi, Taichi Okura and Nobuo Tanaka.
Geo Media Art Contents Project has launched to build Mixed Reality environment experiencing system for outdoor use based on an actual landscape position data received by VRS-RTK-GPS .
Currently there is three content for Geo Media, Influence of Cannon, Pataphysical garden and Egg Party.
I have worked in "Pataphysical Garden" involving concept development, modeling 3D charactors and programing for charactor behaviors.

Pataphysical garden- ludens

"Pataphysical Garden" is a "garden of pure play" which exists just in front of our eyes, yet we cannot see it. In the garden, "homo ludens" (playful human beings) are living. The moment you open the door and step inside, the world in front of your eyes will change into "Pataphysical Garden" revealing homo ludens. Geo-Media art work "pataphysical garden -ludens" is created to give users the experience of a new reality by entering a new dimension through the pataphysical door. Today, our percept of existence/reality has been expanded with media and technology. When we encounter the creatures from other dimension as part of reality, this expansion will be experienced even stronger; this will motivate users experiencing "Pataphysical Garden" to think about how our percept of reality is shaped by media and technology. "Pataphysical" was defined in "Gestes Et Opinions Du Docteur Faustroll" (1911) by French poet Alfred Jarry. It is a coinage meaning of "science of imagination" and "super-metaphysics". It is also followed by various artists as an ideology of art."Ludens" means "pure and gratuitous physical/mental activity under absorbed consciousness without an objective other than the pleasure of itself". In the book "homo ludens"(1938) written by Dutch historian Johan Huizinga, he says "play has a deep relationship with culture, and new culture starts from there".
